Where did our research projects get us, and where do we go from here?
The Horizon Europe projects MACRAMÉ, iCARE, nanoPASS and DESIDERATA jointly organised an exclusive two-day virtual workshop advancing the harmonisation and standardisation of testing methodologies for nanomaterials and advanced materials.
The 3rd Harmonisation & Standardisation Workshop welcomed participants from academia, industry, policy makers, regulators and service providers. On the first day, the four project presented the landscape of harmonisation and standardisation concerning risk assessment of advanced materials followed by a session on the applicability of test methods in real-life use and exposure scenarios. On the second day, the MACRAMÉ experts had the chance to present the key outcomes and the project’s legacy together with the other projects in the project legacy and lessons learned session. The workshop concluded with a session focused on the question: Where do we go from here and what might come next? Each session contained presentations by expert speakers and a round table for further discussions on the topic.
The presentations of the workshop can be found here.
