The MACRAMÉ Project was represented at the Event ´Safe and Sustainable by Design – Networking of Horizon Europe Projects’. The event was organised by the European Commission Directorate-General For Research and Innovation and the European Joint Research Centre (JRC). The Networking Event took place on the 20th March 2026 at the Albert Borschette Conference Centre (CCaB) in Brussels. Carsten SCHIERENBECK, (DG RTD) and Silke OBST (HADEA) kicked-off the event, followed by interesting presentations of overarching European Initiatives. The event provided the excellent opportunity to exchange with a multitude of other EU-funded projects working in the field of Safe and Sustainable by Design. The advanced methodologies developed by MACRAMÉ are excellent tools and methods for SSbD. The knowledge gained when investigating real-world products along their entire value chain within MACRAMÉ brings together insights valuable for SSbD.
MACRAMÉ was represented by Steffi Friedrichs and Anna Pohl from MACRAMÉ Partner AcumenIST, Tommaso Serchi from MACRAMÉ Partner LIST, and Thomas Exner from MACRAMÉ Partner 7P9. In a 5-min pitch, the key objectives and outcomes of MACRAMÉ were presented by Steffi Friedrichs.
